Virtual Heartwood Info Session RSVP

Heartwood Agile Learning Center is an independent school for students ages 5-18. Our students are enrolled full-time, Monday-Friday. Our calendar runs similarly to Dekalb County Schools. Our school days start at 9am and end at 3pm.

MISSION STATEMENT: We practice Self-Directed Education in pursuit of collective care and liberation for all people, by centering femme, neurodiverse, Black/brown, and LGBTQIA+ students, staff, and families.

Info Sessions are designed for folks wanting to familiarize themselves with Self-Directed Education and specifically how it is practiced at Heartwood.

Info Sessions are a required part of the admissions process. They occur approximately every 2 months. Enrollment windows open for two weeks after each Info Session. If your student is 12 or over, we specifically ask that they attend an info session as part of their enrollment process.
